- This chassis Chrysler Crossfire uses Philips PCF7941 (ID46 HITAG-2) with Chrysler SKIM 3 immobilizer (2004-2008). Covered natively by Autel IM608 Pro II + IMKPA Chrysler module (~$5-10/session), AD Smart Pro ADS178 Chrysler, Lonsdor K518 USA + Chrysler adapter, Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus + KH100 Chrysler, OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus FCA menu. PIN via Tech Authority subscription or autokeyprog.com calculator.
- Standard 16-pin DLC OBD path; no XP400 PRO bench, no APB112 simulator needed for OBD-only add-key.
- Smart proximity or remote head key: ensure existing key fob battery is functional before starting.
- Verify chip before booking (this chassis facelift): Chrysler SKIM 3 era PCF7941 spans 2004-2014 typical, transitioning to SKIM 4 AES (4A chip) on 2015+ facelifts. Some 2014-2016 chassis shipped with mid-cycle chip swap — confirm transponder ID from a working key with Lonsdor K518 reader before quoting.
- Tool kit context: Autel IMKPA Chrysler module is the dominant add-key accessory (~$5-10/session). AD Smart Pro ADS178 also strong on FCA. Lonsdor LKE Smart Key Emulator for K518 simulated-key flow. Xhorse KH100 + Chrysler module confirmed. APB112 simulator NOT typically needed. G-Box bench EEPROM NOT used. XP400 PRO only for SKIM module bench fallback.
