Notes & cautions
- This chassis Genesis GV80 Coupe uses NXP ID47 NCF29A1X HITAG-AES transponder (2024-2025), 128-bit AES — newest Hyundai-Kia security tier. Requires Hyundai-Kia AES token (Autel cloud / Lonsdor K518 USA AES module / Xhorse VVDI 2024+) for cloud-bound seed-code calc. Dealer-bound on some 2024+ VINs. PIN almost always required for AKL.
- Key fob/remote: ensure existing battery is functional before starting.
- Verify chip before booking: ID46 HITAG-2 vs ID47 HITAG-3 vs ID47 AES generations share a fob shell but use different cryptosystems — confirm transponder ID from a working key with Lonsdor K518 reader before quoting.
- Tool kit context: Hyundai-Kia AES token (Autel IMKPA cloud / Lonsdor LKE Smart Key Emulator + K518 USA AES module / Xhorse KH100 token) for newer AES chassis. Autel APB112 simulator NOT typically needed for Korean OBD add-key. XP400 PRO only for damaged Smartra EEPROM fallback. G-Box bench NOT used on this Korean family.
- All existing keys erased. Bring ALL replacement keys before starting — minimum 2.
- No manual AKL for Genesis GV80 Coupe ID47 AES smart/remote key — professional tool mandatory.
- AKL for Hyundai-Kia ID47 AES typically needs Smartra PIN read or Hyundai-Kia AES token — confirm AKL path before quoting.
- Keep all existing/lost key fobs at least 10 metres from vehicle during AKL.
- AKL accessory needs: Autel IMKPA + Hyundai-Kia AES token for cloud calc, Lonsdor LKE Smart Key Emulator for K518 simulated-key AKL path, KH100 token for Xhorse Hyundai/Kia AES. APB112 NOT mandatory. G-Box bench NOT used. XP400 PRO only if Smartra EEPROM is corrupted (rare).
