- PIN / security code: Audi Erwin / dealer ticket.
- Online / server access: required — None.
- On-board (no tool) sequence: not available — VAG MQB / IMMO 4-5 (2012-2019 era) uses Security Access (SA51/SA52) via OBD with instrument cluster data dump. Add Key/AKL requires reading IMMO data from cluster (Bosch / Magneti Marelli / Continental), generating key file via VVDI MQB Plus / Autel MQB package, then writing to new key. Key file generation typically takes 1-2 minutes. Some Audi B9 / MLB Evo platforms (2017+) require Audi ONLINE security via XENTRY-style flow — limited locksmith support, may need dealer involvement.

- This chassis (VW Atlas 2 CB refresh, 2024-2025) spans VAG MQB Evo era — pre-2024 Atlas used MQB-B, 2024+ refresh moves to MQB Evo with SFD2 protection. IM608 II + XP400 Pro + APB112 typically completes pre-SFD2 builds via OBD cluster dump; SFD2-enabled VINs can require dealer ONLINE security ticket via Erwin portal. Verify SFD2 status by VIN before quoting.
- Battery support recommended for VAG MQB session (cluster data dump takes time).
- Atlas 2 (2024+) chip data not separately confirmed — often ID88 like other modern MQB.
- AKL erases all existing key registrations — bring minimum 2 new key blanks (XSMA1EN or compatible MQB-prepared blank).
