Covered by Lonsdor K518 USA + Nissan adapter, Autel IM608 Pro II + IMKPA Nissan module (~$5-10/session), Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus + KH100, OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus Nissan menu. PIN read tool-side via OBD — NASTF not required.
- Smart proximity or remote head key: ensure existing key fob battery is functional before starting.
- Verify chassis NATS generation before booking: NATS-3/4 (Texas 4D60, pre-2003 typical), NATS-5/6 (PCF7952 ID46, 2003-2013 typical), HITAG-AES (4A chip, 2014+ typical) — confirm transponder ID from a working key with Lonsdor K518 reader. Facelift mid-cycle chip swaps documented on Altima, Sentra, Pathfinder — verify chip before ordering blanks.
- Tool kit context: Autel IMKPA Nissan module ($5-15/session) and Lonsdor LKE Smart Key Emulator for K518 simulated-key flow are the dominant add-key accessories. Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus + KH100 Nissan module also confirmed. APB112 simulator, G-Box bench EEPROM NOT required for OBD-only NATS add-key. XP400 PRO only for damaged BCM EEPROM fallback.
