- This chassis Lexus G-chip (Texas 4D60 80-bit DST) smart key. RX AL10 (2010-2015) — G-chip 4D60 smart key. Newer-era H-chip/8A on Autel needs IMKPA token (~$5-15/session). Lonsdor K518 USA + Honda/Toyota AES module covers G/H/8A natively. Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus needs 2024+ firmware for H-chip. Standard 16-pin DLC OBD path; no XP400 PRO bench, no APB112 simulator needed for OBD enrolment.
- Smart proximity key: ensure existing key fob battery is functional before starting.
- RX AL10 has 3-button and 4-button variants under the same FCC (HYQ14ACX) — trim determines button count. Order correct PN based on trim/options.
- Post-2024 Autel US firmware: Toyota/Lexus add-key may be affected by TMNA restrictions — verify on current firmware.
- All existing keys erased. Bring ALL replacement keys before starting — minimum 2.
- No manual AKL for Lexus RX AL10 G chip smart key — professional tool mandatory.
- AKL for Lexus G chip typically needs dealer-issued PIN or EEPROM dump on some models — confirm OBD AKL path before quoting.
- Keep all existing/lost key fobs at least 10 metres from vehicle during AKL.
- Post-2024 Autel US firmware: Toyota/Lexus AKL reportedly restricted per TMNA — verify capability before booking.
