- This chassis (Smart Fortwo W450 2004-2007, EU/NA) spans the original Smart Fortwo with no chip on US-market base trims (2008+ NA pulled from W450, sold W451). EU W450 had ID8E transponder on some trims. Verify by VIN: mechanical YM23 key for non-IMMO trims; EU ID8E requires Mercedes-derived SAM module IMMO procedure.
