- No external PIN required for Subaru Texas 4D60 80-bit G-type add key. Autel/Smart Pro reads IMMO data internally via OBD.
- No internet required for Autel add key on Subaru Texas 4D60 80-bit G-type. Smart Pro ADS2255/ADS2330 requires WiFi for AD server.
- Subaru smart system limit: maximum 4 keys per vehicle. If 4 already programmed, one must be erased before adding new key.
- IMPORTANT: this case (Legacy 6 / Outback BS / WRX 4 / WRX STI 4) has variants using Hitachi H-Chip (some trims/years) in addition to standard G-key. H-Chip requires special handling: Lonsdor K518 with separate Lonsdor H-Chip PCB dongle, or Autel + XP400 Pro with specific key data package. Smart Pro ADS2255 covers the G-key trims only. Identify chip before quoting — visual: H-Chip keys often unique to high-trim STI / WRX Performance / Legacy 3.6R / Outback 3.6R trim packages.
