- This chassis (Toyota Sequoia XK60 2008-2022) spans three chip generations — 4D67 (2008-2010), G-chip 4D72G (2011-2017), H-chip 128-bit AES (2018+). Verify chip before ordering blanks. Pre-2018: Tech Stream or K518 + OBP cable on-board cycle. 2018+: H-chip requires Toyota seed-code cloud (Autel, Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus + Toyota H token).
- 2008-2018 transponder key chip progression: 2008-2011 = G/D-chip (4D67); 2010-2015 = G-chip (4D72); 2015-2018 = H-chip (4D74, 128-bit). Verify chip stamp on existing key head before programming.
- Smart proximity key (2019-2022): professional IMMO tool required — no self-programming method.
- Post-2024 Autel US firmware: Toyota add-key may be affected by TMNA restrictions — verify on current firmware.
- All existing keys erased. Bring ALL replacement keys before starting — minimum 2.
- No manual AKL for Toyota H chip smart key — professional tool mandatory.
