Newest builds (2021+) often require dealer with Audi VIN-bound security ticket. Confirm coverage with tool vendor before quoting.

- This chassis (Audi e-tron GE, 2019-2023) spans the original e-tron name (renamed Q8 e-tron in 2024) — MLB Evo EV platform. Pre-2022 builds typically allow IM608 II + XP400 Pro + APB112 OBD cluster dump; 2022+ MY adds SFD2-equivalent layer that can require dealer ONLINE ticket via Erwin. Verify SFD2 status by VIN.
- Battery support recommended for VAG MQB session (cluster data dump takes time).
- Audi B9 / MLB Evo (2017+): can require dealer-only ONLINE security ticket for newest builds. Verify Autel/Xhorse coverage for the exact VIN before scheduling.
- AKL erases all existing key registrations — bring minimum 2 new key blanks (XSMA1EN or compatible MQB-prepared blank).
