- This chassis spans VW Group MEB platform (2022-2025) — shares Hitag Extended chip with MQB Evo but uses VW MEB-specific cluster security. Pre-2023: Autel IM608 II + XP400 Pro + APB112 sometimes works via VW MEB menu. 2023+ MEB builds add SFD2-style protection — confirm tool MEB coverage for the exact VIN before quoting. Often requires dealer-only ONLINE security ticket for newest builds.
- Battery support recommended for VAG MQB session (cluster data dump takes time).
- Audi B9 / MLB Evo (2017+): can require dealer-only ONLINE security ticket for newest builds. Verify Autel/Xhorse coverage for the exact VIN before scheduling.
