- PIN / security code: required — NASTF VSP SAC (24-digit).

- On-board (no tool) sequence: not available — 2021-2025 Buick Envision has no onboard programming. CarandTruckRemotes.com 2023 Envision instructions confirm: "vehicle is not on board programmable and requires a qualified professional to program smart key remote fobs." The pre-2017 GM two-key cupholder relearn does NOT work on Global B.

Notes & cautions
- This chassis (Envision 2nd gen, E2 platform, 2021-2025) uses GM Global B / CAN FD architecture. Requires CAN FD-capable tool (Autel CAN FD adapter, OBDSTAR CAN FD adapter, or Lonsdor K518 Pro built-in CAN FD). Standard pre-2020 GM cables WILL NOT communicate.
- NASTF VSP 24-digit Security Access Code MANDATORY for all aftermarket programmers on this variant. GM banned 3rd-party direct-server PIN retrieval in 2021. SAC from NASTF SDRM portal or 3rd-party calc service per VIN. IM608 Pro II XP400 PRO bench module bundled with the kit is NOT used on this chassis — OBD-only.
- FCC differs from 1st gen Envision (2016-2020 used HYQ4AA). 2nd gen 2021-2025 = YG0G21TB2 only. Verify chip before quoting — wrong fob will not pair. Verify trim — Preferred / Essence / Avenir use same procedure but customer pricing tiers differ.
- AKL on this chassis erases all existing keys. Bring minimum 2 new blanks. Verify trim before quoting — Preferred / Essence / Avenir same workflow but customer expectations differ.
- NASTF VSP 24-digit SAC mandatory on Autel / AutoProPad / Lonsdor / Xhorse on this variant. OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus attempts bypass via 12-min door cycle — success not guaranteed.
- 12-min door-cycle timer must run uninterrupted.
