- This chassis (Envista 1st gen, GEM platform, 2024-2025, China-built entry crossover) uses GM Global B / CAN FD architecture with HYQ4ES smart key. Shares HYQ4ES FCC with Encore GX 2021-2025 but uses Envista-specific PN 13547677 — confirm model when ordering blanks. Requires CAN FD-capable tool (Autel CAN FD adapter, OBDSTAR CAN FD adapter, or Lonsdor K518 Pro built-in CAN FD).
- NASTF VSP 24-digit Security Access Code MANDATORY for all aftermarket programmers on this variant. GM banned 3rd-party direct-server PIN retrieval in 2021. SAC from NASTF SDRM portal or 3rd-party PIN calculator service per VIN. IM608 Pro II XP400 PRO bench module is NOT used on this chassis — OBD-only path.
- Envista is the newest GM Global B entry — launched 2024 MY. Tool coverage filtered in by Autel + AutoProPad in 2024 update notes (treated as Buick Global B variant alongside Envision). Verify chip before — Encore GX siblings use the same HYQ4ES but ordering wrong PN will not pair. Verify trim — Sport Touring / Preferred / Avenir share procedure but customer pricing differs.
- AKL on this chassis erases all existing keys. Bring minimum 2 new blanks. Verify trim — Sport Touring / Preferred / Avenir same workflow.
- NASTF VSP 24-digit SAC mandatory on this variant. OBDSTAR attempts bypass via 12-min door cycle — success not guaranteed; quote with PIN-required pricing.
