Notes & cautions
- This chassis (Buick LaCrosse 1st gen, 2005-2009) spans the GM Passlock era — uses resistor pellet (not transponder chip). LaCrosse 1 uses GM W-body platform shared with Pontiac Grand Prix. On-board 30-minute relearn with stable 12V+ is the standard path.
- AKL via on-board cycle works — Passlock has no "all keys lost" lockout. No special tool needed if 30+ min available.
