Notes & cautions
- This chassis (Cadillac DeVille 8th gen, 2000-2005) spans the GM Passlock era — uses resistor pellet (not transponder chip). DeVille 8 is the final DeVille generation; replaced by DTS in 2006. Uses GM H-body platform. On-board 30-minute relearn with stable 12V+ is standard.
- AKL via on-board cycle works — Passlock has no "all keys lost" lockout. No special tool needed if 30+ min available.
