Notes & cautions
- This chassis (Cadillac CTS 1st gen, 2003-2007) spans the GM Passlock era — uses resistor pellet (not transponder chip). CTS 1 uses GM Sigma RWD platform shared with Cadillac SRX 1 and STS. On-board 30-minute relearn with stable 12V+ is standard.
- AKL via on-board cycle works — Passlock has no "all keys lost" lockout. No special tool needed if 30+ min available.
