What the job needs
- Add a key: 1 existing working key required.
- All keys lost: no existing working key needed.
- PIN / security code: required — NASTF VSP SAC (24-digit).
- Online / server access: required — Tool cloud login req'd.
- On-board (no tool) sequence: not available — 2021-2025 Escalade has no DIY/onboard programming. Add Key with two existing keys is dealer-side only (GM Techline SPS2 / MDI 2). Aftermarket Add Key requires CAN FD adapter + NASTF SAC.
- On site: engine off · Maintain 13.5V+ · Clear IMMO + BCM DTCs.
- Bring: Photo ID + registration. VIN cross-check. NASTF VSP log entry retained 7 years.

Notes & cautions
- This chassis (Escalade T1XX 2021-2025) is GM Global B / CAN FD with the same security architecture as CT4/CT5. Requires Autel CAN FD adapter, OBDSTAR CAN FD adapter, or Lonsdor K518 Pro built-in CAN FD. Standard pre-2020 GM cables WILL NOT communicate. Verify trim before quoting — base, Sport, Premium, Platinum, ESV, and Escalade-V all use the same procedure but customer pricing tiers differ.
- NASTF VSP 24-digit Security Access Code MANDATORY for all aftermarket programmers on this variant. GM blocked direct-server PIN retrieval 2021. SAC from NASTF SDRM or 3rd-party calc service per VIN.
- T1XX Escalade has 6-button fob (5-button on CT4/CT5) with hatch + hatch glass + remote start. Bring 6-button blank — 5-button CT4/CT5 fob is mechanically and FCC-different programming-wise (different button-map firmware). IM608 Pro II XP400 PRO bench module is NOT used on this chassis — OBD-only.
- AKL on this chassis erases all existing keys. Bring minimum 2 new blanks. Single-key delivery after AKL is a service failure.
- NASTF VSP 24-digit SAC mandatory on Autel / AutoProPad / Lonsdor / Xhorse for this variant. OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus attempts bypass via 12-min door cycle — success rate ~50-70% per locksmith reports; always quote with PIN-required pricing. GM Techline SPS / MDI 2 is the OEM dealer-side path.
- 12-min door-cycle timer must run uninterrupted — open/close driver door every 3-4 sec throughout. Pause = abort. Escalade T1XX driver door is heavy — recommend a second person to help if cycling at speed. Verify trim — ESV (extended-wheelbase) and Escalade-V have same AKL workflow but ESV needs longer 12V harness reach.
