- This chassis (Ford Galaxy 2nd gen, 2006-2015 EU-only) spans the Ford PATS 4-5 era — uses HITAG-2 ID46 chip family (PCF7935 early, PCF7945 late). Ford Galaxy 2 was not sold in the US; EU/UK aftermarket coverage via Autel IM608 II + Xhorse Key Tool Plus. PIN from FORScan with paid license, autokeyprog.com Ford PATS calculator, or dealer.
- If 2 existing PROGRAMMED keys are present, the 2-key on-board cycle (no diagnostic tool) works on most PATS 4-5 transponder cars — quote accordingly.
- AKL erases all existing PATS key registrations — bring minimum 2 new key blanks.
- Maintain 12V+ throughout — AKL session takes 10-20 minutes including PIN service.
