Notes & cautions
- This chassis (Mercedes X254 GLC, 2023-2026) spans the C-class W206 SUV sibling on newest FBS4 BGA — no aftermarket Add Key/AKL support yet for 2023+ Mercedes FBS4. IMKPA + IM608 II and Xhorse VVDI MB cover up to W246/W205/W213/W222 generation only. CSC ticket via dealer XENTRY portal (~$50-100 per VIN) is the practical path. Verify Autel/Xhorse X254 coverage before quoting.
- AKL on FBS4 typically requires EIS removal + bench programming.
- Newest Mercedes (2022+) can require dealer-bound CSC ticket — aftermarket coverage limited. Confirm tool vendor coverage for the exact VIN before scheduling AKL.
- AKL erases existing keys — bring minimum 2 new BGA-compatible Mercedes key blanks.
