Notes & cautions
- This chassis (Mitsubishi RVR/ASX 4, 2023-2025) is EU-only Mitsubishi but mechanically a rebadged Renault Captur (CMF-B platform) — uses Renault HITAG-AES Megamos IMMO, NOT Mitsubishi 4A. Autel IM608 II + Lonsdor K518 Renault packages should apply. Verify Renault menu coverage (NOT Mitsubishi menu) before quoting.
- BCM access required: remove glove box (RHD) or work under steering column (LHD).
- Internet connection required for Autel tablet during programming.
- RVR/ASX 4 (2023+) is newest gen. Chip may be Mitsubishi 4A or Renault-equivalent depending on market. confirm with reader before ordering blank.
- Mitsubishi 4A AKL: 40-pin BCM cable MANDATORY. BCM gray connector disconnect + in-line cable required to bypass PIN lockout.
- AKL flow takes 10-15 min total. Battery support strongly recommended.
- Min 2 new OEM smart keys required for AKL.
- After AKL: reconnect BCM gray connector, reinstall glove box if removed.
- RVR/ASX 4: chip family verification critical before AKL — wrong tool may immo-lockout.
