Notes & cautions
- This chassis (Hyundai Accent RB, 2012-2017) uses a Philips ID46 (PCF7936) transponder on the HY18 blade across the whole run, not the Texas 4D60 to PCF7936 split this text once assumed. Some RB Accents left the factory with no immobiliser at all — check for an immobiliser telltale on ignition-on before quoting a chip. IMMO key registration ALWAYS erases ALL previously registered keys — collect all existing keys before procedure.
- All existing keys will be erased and cannot be recovered. Bring ALL replacement key blanks before starting — minimum 2.
- Keep ALL lost/existing key fobs at least 10 metres from vehicle during programming.
