Notes & cautions
- This chassis Toyota TI 4C / Crypto-1 chip (early Lexus IMMO era). LS400 UCF20 (1995-2000) — pre-OBD2 1995, OBD2-equipped 1996+. Master/valet key system with pedal-dance manual programming via existing master key. Professional aftermarket tool with 4C OBD support required. Standard 16-pin DLC sufficient on Autel/Lonsdor/Xhorse (no IMKPA token, no XP400 PRO bench needed).
- Post-2024 Autel US firmware: Toyota add-key may be affected by TMNA restrictions.
- Existing working key required for add-key procedure on most tools.
- Lexus LS ucf20 1995-1996: no transponder chip (LXP90-P non-transponder blade). LS ucf20 1997-2000: Texas 4C chip (LXP90). Verify year and chip before programming.
- All existing keys erased. Bring ALL replacement keys before starting — minimum 2.
- Texas 4C AKL: many tools require EEPROM dump from the immobiliser ECU for all-keys-lost recovery.
- Post-2024 Autel US firmware: Toyota AKL may be affected by TMNA restrictions.
