- This chassis Lexus 4D68 chip smart key. LS430 UCF30 (2001-2006) — 4D68 era; pre-G/H smart key. Newer-era H-chip/8A on Autel needs IMKPA token (~$5-15/session). Lonsdor K518 USA + Honda/Toyota AES module covers G/H/8A natively. Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus needs 2024+ firmware for H-chip. Standard 16-pin DLC OBD path; no XP400 PRO bench, no APB112 simulator needed for OBD enrolment.
- This model has two distinct key systems: standard remote head key (HYQ12BBK) and Smart Access proximity key (HYQ12BZE) — confirm which system the vehicle has before starting. Smart Access vehicles require the correct 4-button smart key blank.
- Post-2024 Autel US firmware: Toyota/Lexus add-key may be affected by TMNA restrictions — verify on current firmware.
- All existing keys erased. Bring ALL replacement keys before starting — minimum 2.
- No manual AKL for Lexus LS430 UCF30 4D68 — professional tool mandatory.
- OBD AKL typically needs dealer-issued PIN (Toyota Techstream + NASTF) or EEPROM dump on some LS430 ECUs — confirm OBD AKL path before quoting.
