- This chassis Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross PHEV uses Philips ID47 PCF7961X HITAG-3 (2022-2025). HITAG-3 covered by Lonsdor K518 USA + Mitsubishi adapter, Autel IM608 Pro II + IMKPA token, Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus 2024+ firmware. PIN dealer-bound on some 2020+ VINs.
- Smart proximity or remote head key: ensure existing key fob battery is functional before starting.
- Verify chip before booking (this chassis facelift): Mitsubishi spans 4C (pre-2007) → 4D61 (2003-2011) → ID46 HITAG-2 (2008-2017) → ID47 HITAG-3 (2018+) → HITAG-AES 4A (2022+) — confirm transponder ID from a working key with Lonsdor K518 reader before quoting.
- Tool kit context: Autel IMKPA Mitsubishi module is the dominant add-key accessory (~$5-15/session for AES). Lonsdor LKE Smart Key Emulator for K518 simulated-key flow.
