Notes & cautions
- This chassis (Model 3 Highland facelift, 2024-2026) spans Tesla's BLE phone-as-key + NFC card key system — owner-managed via touchscreen, NO locksmith tool involvement possible. Highland refresh carries over the existing Model 3/Y BLE key fob FCC; same pairing procedure (B-pillar reader + center console). For all-keys-lost, owner must contact Tesla Service with proof of ownership — no aftermarket AKL path exists.
- Existing authenticated key (card / fob / phone) required to add new key.
- If all keys lost: contact Tesla Service (no locksmith path).
- Tesla AKL (all keys lost) is NOT a locksmith service. Refer customer to Tesla Service.
- Tesla Service can provision new key cards to the account via Tesla Mobile Service or service center visit. Customer must provide proof of ownership.
- No aftermarket tool supports Tesla key provisioning.
