Notes & cautions
- This chassis (Toyota Solara XV30 2004-2008) spans the Texas 4C → 4D67 chip transition — pre-2005 4C, 2005+ 4D67. Verify chip before ordering blanks. Tech Stream or Lonsdor K518 + Toyota OBP cable required for on-board programming. Solara XV30 is Camry XV30 coupe sibling.
- Variant note: the separate keyless entry fob (GQ43VT20T, chip=none) does not require transponder programming — only the transponder ignition key (variant 1) requires an IMMO tool.
- Post-2024 Autel US firmware: Toyota add-key function may be affected by TMNA restrictions — verify on current firmware.
- All existing keys erased. Bring ALL replacement keys before starting — minimum 2.
- OBD AKL can require dealer-issued PIN (Toyota Techstream + NASTF) or EEPROM dump on some Solara XV30 ECUs — confirm OBD path before quoting AKL job.
- Post-2024 Autel US firmware: Toyota AKL reportedly restricted per TMNA request — verify AKL capability on current firmware before booking.
