- This chassis Volvo C70 uses Volvo CEM ID48 (2006-2013). Covered by Autel IM608 Pro II + IMKPA Volvo + bench CEM module, Lonsdor K518 USA + Volvo adapter, Xhorse VVDI Prog + Volvo CEM module, AVDI Volvo niche tool. CEM bench EEPROM dump common for AKL on older chassis.
- Volvo CEM is fragile — battery support 12V+ MANDATORY; CEM EEPROM corruption risk if voltage drops mid-write.
- Smart proximity or remote head key: ensure existing key fob battery is functional before starting.
