Notes & cautions
- This chassis (Hyundai Sonata LF, 2015-2019) spans the chip transition era — pre-facelift (2015-2017) PCF7952 ID46, facelift (2018-2019) often HITAG-AES. Verify chip before ordering blanks. IMMO key registration ALWAYS erases ALL previously registered keys.
- Sonata LF non-push-start trims use non-transponder flip remote — no IMMO programming needed. Verify trim has push-button start before scheduling job.
- All existing smart key registrations will be permanently erased. Bring ALL replacement key blanks before starting — minimum 2.
- Keep ALL lost/existing key fobs at least 10 metres from vehicle during programming.
- Non-push-start Sonata LF trims: key cutting only — no IMMO programming needed.
