- This chassis (Hyundai Tucson TL, 2016-2021) spans the PCF7952 ID46 → HITAG-AES chip transition — pre-facelift (2016-2018) typically PCF7952 ID46, facelift (2019-2021) typically HITAG-AES smart key. Verify chip before ordering blanks. IMMO key registration ALWAYS erases ALL previously registered keys.
- All existing smart key registrations will be permanently erased. Bring ALL replacement key blanks before starting — minimum 2.
- Keep ALL lost/existing key fobs at least 10 metres from vehicle during programming.
